I have overfilled my transmission by maybe 2 quarts. When I ran the car it smoked (leaking onto exhaust) and left a trail of fluid on my driveway? I only drove the car maybe 3 miles with it overfilled... My question is, did I blow a seal? or is there an overflow tube that did it's job? I parked the car 2 months ago and it has not leaked parked? do I just need to drain the excess? or is it something more serious thanks for any help.
