Default Transmission slip

I have an 03 XK8.. the car runs great...except I note a steep inclined hill on my way home from work..when I take that route..as I am going up the hill, the transmission makes an odd noise and the car slows as though it doesn't want to stay in gear... this is in the Automatic positioin..when I put it in 2 then it seems fine.....I had the Jag dealer check the transmission and he says its fine..just added a little fluid....any thoughts?

It has all the symptoms of low fluid, so keep an eye on it and check for leaks.

Should have mentioned, if anyone has had the filter out, pull it and see if they got the o-ring back onto the filter feed tube correctly. If it is not in there, when fluid flows away from the bottom of the valve body, the tranny sucks air.
