i have 4 relays(siemans 1001-x49) that were not in thier sockets in my trunk fusebox,cant find any info on what they do,i bought this car not running so far ive replaced the fuel pump,i think the fuse or relays is bad cause i cant here it running when i crank also the tach dont move when cranking is this the crank sensor gone bad ,thanks for any help

 

Check the sticky section at the top of the forum for diagrams of all the rely locations .

On XK8’s there will be empty sockets for the XKR’s 2nd fuel pump. Also if you have a coupe there won’t be relays that are needed for the convertible.
