Does anyone know if the 2001 on up trunk plinth with button fit 2000 back? Are the dimensions and mounting the same. It would be a nice upgrade for an older xk. It was such a handy upgrade.

It will fit about 95%, although there's no wiring for the button release. I just prefer the chrome finish to body colour.



IIRC only two of the four mounting bolts will fit without drilling extra holes, but it's been fine on my car with just the two. I *think* I had to file the holes square or something - sorry I did this about 17 years ago...

edit: I've just seen what Jaguar is charging for this trim nowadays
