Jaguars tend not to have too many color variants.
Can't tell you for sure what brand was originally used on the car but these are from the Ford era and Ford tended to use PPG paint products.
Dupont is good too, and I have also tried Matrix. The Matrix color match is ok (pearl black), only complaint is that the clearcoat is a little soft compared to the others.

Bob, Some O'rieley's have a paint shop that will shoot your paint and mix accordingly. They mix it with the clear in but a can of clear allows to over shoot the area, sand with 2000 grit and buff out. It can come in a spray can, if you choose, just make sure you have a good warm day.

Just about every Autoparts store in the UK can mix small quantities of paint to the Paint Code but I understand it's more difficult to find a supplier in the USA and Canada so I'll leave that to 'local knowledge'.

I've had great luck with paint from AutomotiveTouchup.com. They should be able to match from the 3 letter code that Graham mentioned. Check my post on paint repair as I've refinished mirrors, trim, full left front wing, and even refurbished my wheels with products from them and Eastwood company. If done carefully the results are highly rewarding!

Eastwood has a wide selection of products, including spray cans, and very high quality. But you may find the off the shelf paints do not match the color perfectly due to sun exposure. When a body shop does touch up and repair, they adjust the color to match.

Another vote for automotivetouchup.com. Supply them with the proper three-letter paint code and you'll have your paint for a very reasonable price in your mailbox in a week or less. Their formula for White Onyx matched the White Onyx paint on my wife's 2006 XK8 perfectly. Just keep in mind that darker colors are more prone to sun fade and may be more difficult to get right....
