I don't know about where to get it done but I found a good place to get hold of all the panels you will need Jag Spares International - XK8 1996-2005 - Body and Fittings it might help? I would like to know a place in Lincolnshire though because mine needs doing at some point.

I have just had a superb body work repair (new wing and bonnet) by Fix Auto in Keighley. I note there is one in London South

Hi urgent is it?

Found a guy in north London that seems to be very good at welding and body work, runs a very small shop. I haven't tried him myself though so reluctant to make a recommendation. Planning on doing the work in the spring and will be able to report then.

Not urgent, but suspect needs doing before next mot, where was advisories

I may bite the bullet and go up north, who have done many jags and this work specifically, I think (to me) important that they understand the car and it’s issues - though maybe this isn’t so important - hence me asking

do report back after spring though, what work are you getting done nitch?

The guy does not not specialise in Jaguar (or X100), just good with a torch and a paint gun.
For me it's not a major work, one spot in the windshield frame and a little rust in the edge of the rear wheel wells.

I would rather have some one with with experience of XK8/R repair work also if i was to give my car to some one.

Im sure there is a well known place in Reading, but for the moment cant recollect there name (old age creeping in)

Iv never used Elite and Performance Jags In Derby for body work, but i know they do it,
i went there to get my cat back sports exhaust fitted,
whilst there other xk8/r owners turned up to get their cars looked at and booked in for the usual rust repairs.

These people know there jags inside out, all the fitters there own x100 xk8/r cars.
