Phil,

Thank you for helping me to remember the name of the Lining... "Pig Mat" it is, now finding it will be the next thing! The 2005 - 2006 XKR has a large undertray up in the Front. but there is nothing in the Rear. The one that Baxtor made-up appears to be a good start but he has not put an Oil lining in...The problem with the Under Tray is that Mechanics seem to forget to replace it after servicing the Car....Sometimes you have to remind them!

i noticed on my 06 str the belly pan ends about where the exhaust really begins. Heat vs plastic being a no no i guess

The padding on the pans is nothing to do with oil absorption ..its due to increasing noise regulations so they fitted the pans/padding to reduce noise reflected from the road.
