dear Jaguar experts, do you know what could it be this cable below?

Looks like a CATS connector for suspension damper?

ah yes, you're right. But strangely I didn't find the same on the other (left / driver EU side)

I'm not sure I will restore and install back the C.A.T.S. , any suggestion? I can leave it like this, right?

BOTH of my 2000MY XKRs came with CATS from the factory.

When I bought one of the cars, one of the previous owners replaced all the suspension dampers with COMFORT units . (black Bilstein)
The connector wires are just tucked in place and ignored.(the other car is still equipped with functioning CATS)

some cars are prewired for cats, see it on the 308s a lot
