Default Updates to the FAQ thread

Just in case some of you XK8/R owners haven't been checking weekly on the FAQ page, I thought I'd mention what has been added lately, and maybe of interest to you.

Gus has completed several new pages regarding the following
  • Nikasil and Sulfur content in fuel
  • Electrical diagrams
  • DTC codes
  • No-Start condition
In addition, I've added the parts catalogue that TestPoint scanned to me, its come in hand in more ways than just parts numbers, but exploded views of the different systems. Very cool addition to our FAQs.

Also, I've added a pdf version of the Vehicle Specification document, it includes VIN IDs and their MY cutoffs, the location of the VIN plates, torque specs, fluid specs and capacities, firing order for all motor versions, ride heights, and some other interesting data.

Check it out!

As you can tell, i've taken a special interest in keeping the XK8/R FAQ fully stocked with info and looking good, I guess I shouldn't play favorites and help out on the rest of the model pages.

If more 'significant' content is added, I'll be sure to let you know.

That looks like some very useful stuff. Unfortunately I can't see any of it. When I click on any link -- either there or another thread, it takes me to a page that says I don't have permission to access it. I am registered and logged in. I have sent 2 emails to the "contact us" link at the bottom of this page.
If anyone is out there that can enable my account please help.
Thanks,
Nick

I've been linked to some additional 6HP tranny documents, for you 'transmission' lovers. Plus, new brake/rotor replacement guide recently added to the list.

check it out.

One of the s-type guys found these and linked to them last week. I just added them.

As for my switch, not yet...its behaving. I'm saving my $700 for a little bit.
