so after replacing my thermostat housing and water pump , I'm wondering if there's an upgraded ,aluminum upper coolant pipe . I couldn't find one on line. Seems silly to upgrade everything else that's plastic and put this back on .

 

I was toying with the idea of having a batch made up if there is enough demand. I replaced mine with a new one, as I did for all the plastic fittings, as the old part seemed to have degraded and I did not trust it, so I would not recommend putting the old one back on anyway.
