Default Upper shock mounts

I'm just about to change the upper shock mounts (p.n.MJA2170BD) on my XK8 - anybody know where to source them at sensible money?I know there is a rebushing kit available but the opinion on them seems divided - are they difficult to rebush? Is that the best way to go?
All help and opinions appreciated!

Thanks,Graham - that's what I've been looking at - I was just interested as to other owners experiences with the kit - in Rev.Sam's video he doesn't recommend using it.

I used an aftermarket re-mount kit and was very disappointed in it. The "poly" was very soft and risilient, and the shock rod gets off center, just like the deteriorated original mount. The shock rod can be levered back to the center, but in a few days it returns to off center. This is on both shocks. I will eventually replace with originals.

If there's more than one aftermarket supplier of these kits, it would be useful to know which one you used.

I'm thinking of the situation with aftermarket suspension bushes which are available from a number of sources and of variable quality. If the aftermarket shock bush is of similarly variable quality, be good to know which is not recommended.

I was looking at those kits myself. I decided on going with the Jag parts, figuring they lasted 97,000 miles. Of course, they may have been replaced once already! My local dealer wanted $255 each. Ordered mine online from Gaudin Jag in Vegas for (I think) about $157 each. The shipping is a bit high, but still a major savings. I saved my old strut mounts in case anyone wanted to use them as "builders" for an aftermarket kit before disabling their car. Hollar if you need them!
