Hello all, I have been having trouble sourcing replacement VC gaskets for the car, does anyone know if these are available in the UK? From where are other folks sourcing these gaskets? Do I need to go to the dealer for this? I've checked RockAuto, Amazon, FCPEuro, nobody seems to have them...
Thanks!
Thanks!

Those gaskets will not fit a AJ26. The correct ones are thicker and the spark plug seals are a figure 8.The cover seals are NCA2515AE and NCA 2516AE. The plug seals are NCA2478BB. SNG Barrett should have them.

I Googled the part number and several places have them. AutohausAZ, Amazon, eBay, Moss Motors, just the top 4.Originally Posted by jim_63219

The gaskets TO ENGINE 9810290000 ARE THE GREY an ORANGE thick seals. (probably to VIN (031302))
The later thin BLACK gaskets are listed as FROM VIN (031303).

Thanks everyone, it looks like I can piece this together from multiple sources. So it's true the parts are obtainable, but definitely not as straightforward as the kits available for the later models.
I did my 2002 XKR earlier in the summer, and it was reasonably priced at RockAuto.
For this, it seems I can still source the pieces from multiple Ebay vendors directly off the part numbers. I hope this isn't going to disappear altogether.
Thanks for all your assistance folks!

Doh! Thanks: - I didn't read the EPC properly. I think the boss seals changed to individuals at the same time. RJ has the part #s correct. I'll edit my previous post and get my coat... Originally Posted by motorcarman

I remember trying to install the cam cover gaskets/seals on the later engines when the parts dept still only had the early GREY/ORANGE and 'paired' spark plug boss seals just after the change/update.Originally Posted by michaelh

I did have to 'squish' the thick gaskets and trim the paired plug boss seals into the wrong cam covers just to get the cars out of the shop until the parts dept could order/receive the correct parts.
They had no idea Jaguar changed the design so they just kept giving us the older style gaskets.

I think you will also need the 24 spacer grommets AJ810510 or risk leaks.
