Default Connector

Crazy, I was just about to post the same question!
I just got off the phone with Terry's Jag Parts and they suggested trying a Ford parts department. She said that Jaguar doesn't offer the parts but she recalled a previous customer who had luck sourcing them from the Lincoln 3.9.
I'll try and check it out tomorrow unless someone has another idea.

Default Connectors

Went to the Ford parts dept. today and they were much more helpful than the local Jaguar dealer.
We looked through a catalog of connectors and found one that looked similar and he ordered it for me.
I also ordered one from Rock Auto that was recommended on this forum.
I'll let you know what works and post part #

Default Part #

I should get both parts this week and will check fit when they arrive.
The Rock part is AIRTEX / WELLS - 1P1792 (1160) $33.79
I would wait till I can check fit before ordering though.

Y'all do realize that there are 2 different VVT actuators!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One is an actual on/off solenoid (FULL ADVANCE, FULL RETARD) and the other is an actuator that is controlled to vary the intake cam by degrees.

Are you both on the same page???? cause Dale Dunn does NOT specify the Make, Model, Year. (AJ26 or AJ27??)

Just trying to clarify.

PM me if interested in a used one- I have a couple harnesses laying around and will send for cost of shipping. I have both an AJ26 harness and an AJ27.

Default Vvt

Dsnyder586 thank you very much for your offer but the connector I picked up from Ford fits perfectly.
As Bob points out to clarify I have a 01 AJ27 with the unit coming out through the top of the valve cover.
The Ford part number is - AU2Z-14S411-ADA
