Way to retrieve codes from CATS
So I am still sorting out my 2001 xkr. I have a suspension fault and would like to read the codes. Is there a relatively inexpensive code reader available that will access the cats module ? I have an icarsoft unit for Mercedes that works well for benz. I see they sell one for jaguar but I have no idea if it will see the cats module.
I suppose I could think about a factory clone setup to read codes.
Advice ?
Anyone in the Chicagoland area that could read the codes for me possibly ?

Check if per chance you can add support for Jaguar/Land Rover to your existing Mercedes device. I know I can do that with my Foxwell device (for a fee). There is a small SD card that can be supplemented with support for additional brands through the Foxwell client software running on a laptop.
Best of luck, keep us posted.
PS: FWIW, the latest posts regarding suspension faults were for electrical wiring issues around the top of the rear shocks. Something about the shock somehow rotating and fraying/twisting the wiring in the process. Apparently a bit of a bear to reach, but likely near $0 in the end. I would say start with checking the resistance of all the shock connections at the module in the trunk and go from there.

Shocks are buried for sure in the rear.
