Default magnaflow upgrade engine codes

I would like to know from all of the dudes that have high flow cats installed on the jags. Did any of you receive any codes related to catalyst inefeciency or under voltage, and what was done to fix the problem. Also I never did do a hard reset after install, I would like to know if its a necessary procedure to do after high flow cats are installed. Thanks.

I had a code that was corrected by a hard re-set.

I have 200 cell high flow cats and have had no codes after running them for a couple months. Be careful though as there are big differences in quality and performance in aftermarket cats.

Most (not all) OEM cats have approximately 300 cells per inch.
Most (not all) high flow cats are 200 cells per inch.
Racing cats typically have 100 cells per inch and cause codes for many vehicles.

I searched a lot on Porsche bulletin boards for enthusiast that live in CA before I purchased my hf cats. I did not try 100 cell race cats because they seemed to cause too much hassle for too many people.

Give the race cats a try and report back if they work well for you.
