Finding error codes with OBD2: O2 Sensor
I finally purchased an ELM327 and downloaded the appropriate software to my Android. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the app works. I was not so happy finding two error codes.
I know I must change one of my O2 sensors, and I know it is one of the two before the catalytic converter. My problem is, where are they located?
While looking around in the engine compartment, I can see two sensors toward the bottom of the firewall. They seem to be attached to something under the car. Could these be the sensors?
What I plan on doing is first checking for a loose connection then reversing them. This way I will know which one is defective.
My JTIS CD is currently damaged and I am not even sure it will run on my PC (I recently upgraded WIN7) even in compatibility mode.
Any help will greatly be appreciated.

Don't know on the V6 but often they're "more" (as in: semi-) accessible from underneath. You'd need the engine undertray off (as when changing oil).
Rick will know
Don't be surprised if you break one/both when trying to remove them as they can be "tight".
