Means you have a code(s) logged from your CATS module and your struts are locked into hard position and your cat will ride like a stiff board.

You'll need to have it scanned by someone with a high end scanning system like AutoEnginuity with the Jaguar module added. CATS codes log with "C" prefixes (Chassis codes) - haven't seen a DIY scanner that can access those.

You could also use a mongoose clone and the Jaguar SDD/ICE programme but you would need to use a early version such as 1.30.

Have you the checked the connections on the top of the struts are in order. I have heard of them coming loose.

Other ideas:
1. water in the trunk (boot)
2. low battery

Good thinking - but no TPMS in the S-Types.

There's info on all such locations in the Electrical Guide - free download on this site or JagRepair.com - Jaguar Repair Information Resource
