Default Weird dodgy HID headlamp problem....

Hi everyone..I have a frustrating fault on my RHS headlamp which the local specialist has failed to find the cause of. The headlamps switch on...but after about 5 minutes the RHS low beam goes off, then after a few seconds comes on again, then off and then on, and it does this cycle 5 times before going off completely. After switching the headlamps on again everything lights up once more only to repeat after about another 5 minutes. Only the RHS low beam is affected, and everything else works fine. No warning lights are illuminated either.
Anyone have any suggestions as to the cause or a fix?

Best, Tony

I'd suspect the Ballast/Headlamp Levelling Module. You could try swapping modules LH to RH and see if the fault moves over.

Thanks Graham, I'll give that a try. I understand the bumper has to come off to access the ballast...nothing's ever simple is it!
