I have a proper weird noise on startup from cold. Sounds like a bird stuck in one of the belts. Like a "cheep cheep" noise. Indeed as though 'something' could be stuck in the belt and the noise is the friction as it comes round to a certain point in the revolution. But then the noise just goes as the car warms up to operating temp. This doesn't appear to affect idle as the car warms up, its just a disturbing noise under the hood as it were. There are no warning lights or messages from the CPU and the car still runs like a dream. At the end of the run, there is no such noise and all appears as it should. I am heading towards service and MOT time but just wondered if there were any thoughts from you guys. I have 'looked' for what its worth but cannot see anything with my very untrained eye.

an addendum to this. Dave at JaguarParts asked a valid question about wether I knew the noise was coming from the supercharger belt or the engine accessory belt. I'm pretty sure it is the supercharger belt but have decided to get both belts changed when I get my service in a couple of weeks. My current mileage is 68k and I doubt this will be a repair I will have to do again in my life with the car.
