What color?
Hi all, just up graded to Impeller wheels and did not realize how much the brake caliber was going to show. I have high heat aluminum paint for the exhaust manifold on the Triumph, but not sure if a red or yellow would not be better only a bit showy. I wire brushed the ones on the car and not at all happy with that.
I see the red plastic ones on Ebay, no opinion yet, need to see them and how well they hold up.

Looks like you have the titanium body color? I'd vote red. I know it is the most common for calipers, but there is a reason for that...it looks good. It will look great with your color IMHO.
I will be doing mine in yellow, but I have the pacific blue and I think the contrasting colors will work better than red for me.

Just to share some of the research I'd done on this (I've not done mine yet, still debating replacing caliper seals while I have them off, though you can do them on the car)
Some have not only wire brushed in prep but used small grinders to smooth the calipers bumps from casting, I'll be doing this so it's why I'm thinking of springing 52$ for seals. This will give you a much smoother finish.
You should thoroughly clean with brake cleaner before as well. Apply your paint of choice, I have boxes of G2 waiting. I'll use 2 coats. At this point you can 'add' decals of sorts you can get on ebay, I'm thinking of a XKR type. You will then want to clear coat them 2x, this will protect the paint and seal the decal of choice if used.
I'm going to do this but since I'm pulling the calipers off (it also will allow me to flush the entire brake system with new fluid 50kmi) I've been using the car for the summer, but it's ticking up to the top on the list, good luck with yours and let's see pics after.
