.......there's a lot of that in most I think. I like memories when I'm driving for pleasure. I tend to listen to New to me music at home with less ambiance.

While out running errands earlier today it was Warren Zevon's 1975 debut album simply entitled "Warren Zevon". It doesn't get much better than "Carmelita", "Looking Down The Path", and "Poor Poor Pitiful Me". Man, how I miss ol' Warren....

The last song I listened was Circles by Mac Miller. It was my favourite song and I was very excited when it was released. I asked my father to bought me mac miller kid posters. I cant believe he left us too early. He was a great rapper and made an impact in the rap world in such a small time. Here is a video of circles..

how did I miss this thread before! The last gig I went to pre-corona was Mark Knopfler!

Last CD queued up in my changer is Red Hot Chill Peppers greatest hits. A bit of a cop-out but one of the only greatest hits albums I think is acceptable.

Re: Circles - Mac Miller. This is real funny. Travelling home from a Patriots game this past weekend, my buddy lays this song on me as I was playing a classic tunes playlist. Never heard the song before. He was adamant about me hearing it and even sent me a txt with link. And today I follow link to this thread is the first thing I see. I guess a ride in the Jag and firing up this song is in order. Thanks for the reminder.

I have to agree with you on the Disturbed version. It sends chills down your back.

Just got out of the car where the last two things I listened to were "Racing off to nowhere" by Peter Himmelman and Chicago Transit Authority (as they were known back when this album was made) Ballet for a girl from Buchanon (The Make me Smile medley). Still, outside of maybe the Beatles' Abbey Road medley, probably my favorite. Though the original CTA first album was my favorite of the dozens they have made with "Does Anybody Really Know What Time it is" and Beginnings.

If you like Chicago, look up Leonid and Friends on your computer. They are a Russian Chicago cover band, that sounds so much like them that they're indistinguishable. I have played songs by both Chicago and Leonid over each other at the same time, and there is no deviation. It's fun to watch their videos and see them perform in a small studio.

I just listened to them on YouTube. You're right they are pretty amazing. They also did an incredible job with "September" by Earth Wind and Fire.
