For sure. It is. Thank you so much to you and everyone here. It's definitely a relief when you only paid the price of being ridiculous instead of a thousand bucks. Weird thing that system. Love the new car nonetheless. I have also a 07 MB clk550. Both are my babies. I'm in LA btw. You?

I believe the reason the brake lever drops back down after engaging is to make it easier to get in and out of the car with the brake engaged.

^^ Yep, given the location of the emergency brake handle it needs to be down and out of the way at all times. I have always thought that Jaguar picked a poor location for it....
