Default What is this part called? (connected to the throttle body elbow)

What is the part in the attached picture called? It had a small nipple on it that broke off...

It's called a 'bypass-valve' and I would drill out the broken vacuum hose fitting and epoxy a new nipple/stub onto the valve or thread it for a small metal pipe???. It works from a vacuum source to open and close the valve.
