Default What would be a fair price

Ok so I like my XK8 coupe really very much. That being said I would much rather it was an "R" and lately I have been thinking of buying a convertible and drive it to my native Greece to use it when I am on vacation there.

I have seen this on autotrader which is both an "R" and a convertible.

Jaguar XK 4.2 Supercharged 2dr Auto - XKR 'S' Limited Edition 2005

What do you think its a fair price as surely £18k must be steep.

Thanks

Pavlos

well depends on mileage and service history is a must, ,what tax thay offer, mot and worranty, as you have a xk8 then you allready know this but 18k sounds to steep to me, I would try around 13/14k bepending on the latter but then again it my have had one good vicer owner, (or maybe the stig)good luck

The 'S' wasn't a 'Limited Edition' in the UK the way the equivalent spec 'Victory' was in the US. The UK version was the 'Final Series' and they made as many as they could sell!

That being said, it comes with all the available options as standard. The one you've found is missing the special floor mats but all the other features are there.

It looks good but nowhere near £18K. In the current UK market, £15K would be optimistic.

Well I have called for 3 nice '05 convertibles and all are gone. I don't think £15k is feasible for a nice low mileage car, especially if it a 4.2-S.

If I found one at £15k I'd buy it tomorrow probably
