vacuum res for the cruise control, only found on the 97-98 AJ26 engine. there should be a vacuum line going to the nipple

Thank you all. That explains the issue I've had with my cruise control. I took car in for service a couple years ago and they must have broken the top of the vacuum reservoir and glued it back on!!! I started having issues with the cruise control working intermittently afterwards and finally saw the issue with that part when the vacuum line came unglued... I will search for a replacement. Thank you all.

Another reminder of if i couldnt do it myself i wouldnt own it

Way back in 2000 Jaguar warned us about broken stub pipes with a TSB.
Denial of warranty claims were not unheard of.
