I made a deal today on a 2002 XK8. It has the OEM 18 inch rims on all four wheels. I was wondering if I could run 17 inch rims (for the softer ride and less curb rash) and also maintain good clearance from the brake calipers and all other components, and also not upset the traction control and other computers! I would also like to run the same width on all four so I could rotate tires. I understand the 02's have 8 inch on the front and 9 inch on the rear. Should I use 8 inch width if this is possible? I am considering both OEM and aftermarket 17's. Thanks...
