2002 xk8 convertible, Whenever either of the front windows are lowered the quarter windows both lower all the way and will only go up when the convertible top is cycled.

I recently replaced the hydraulic lines from pump to latch so the top would work, apparently this was a problem for the previous owner because I found the connectors for the rear quarter windows disconnected while I had the rear seat removed.

Anyone have any ideas what would cause this?

 

I have the same issue I hope you figure it out I have never been able to.

 

sounds like body processor module is bad located somewhere over near glove compartment, probably behind it.

try to find someone you can swap one in.

google "xk8 body processor module"

 

JD If you give this a try please post the results. My issue is a more intermittent than yours. Mine go down when the front windows are open and I hit a bump. I usually can shut the windows without cycling the top, but not always. Since mine is intermittent it will be a little harder to test with a short term swap.
