My fuel pump recently failed and these two pieces of foam fell into the bottom of the trunk after taking off the tank cover plate. I did not see where they came from and have no idea where they go or if they are needed.

 

They are spaces that go between the rear shelf trim and the metal of the body near the rear ..don't panic unless you can get the shelf off easy...glued down ...glue failed.
