I am looking at a 2000 xk8 that the custom wheels (chrome) is peeling off) would like to find a set f stock alloy wheels with the jag emblem. any ideas and prices would be appreciated.

 

eBay is your friend. Or since your in FL check out Orlando, Palm Beach, Miami areas on Craigslist I got some on there when I lived in the area.

 

There are always many of the non-bbs styles available on ebay, and you can swap other XK8/R wheels between the years of 1997-2006 with no modifications.

If you find the style you like (check out the FAQ thread for alink to all the different styles) you can do a www.car-part.com search, or try Specialized parts planet in california, good jag salvage operation. There are also companies across the US that refurbish and sell OEM wheels. Do a google search for your favorite, but beware the sites that appear to have every wheel in stock, they don't...call the number first before ordering to weed out those outfits looking for you to buy it first, then they'll try to find it.

 

Try Welsh Enterprises at www.welshent.com. They sometimes have complete sets of wheels for your car.

I agree that Ebay is a good choice, among many good choices. Many alloy wheel specialists sell on Ebay in addition to their regular on-line or store-front channels.

FWIW I bought 5 really nice XJ8 wheels for about $450 all-in, including shipping, off of Ebay.

The cheapest I could find elsewhere was $550...plus shiping...for 4.

XK8 wheels might be a bit more expensive but just do some shopping around.
