Where's my 'chirp'?

I would look at the alarm portion to see if there may be a fuse blown or pulled. I would think the chirp and alarm go hand in hand.
But this is a total guess buy _______________ ,well you fill in the blank.
This is one I would send to Captain Obvious. You my be able to get this info by just going to your Jag dealer and asking the parts guy.
Again that is just a guess. Sometimes they pan out.
Besides your post looked like it was getting lonely with 17 hits and no reply's.

Well, I didn't want to make too lengthy of a post originally, but the alarm is working fine.
I didn't know if the 'chirp' was supposed to be from one of the horns, or if they have a separate horn just for signaling that the alarm is set.
The car was in a front-end collision (before I owned it), and my guess is that it never got replaced.
Ideas anyone?
