Default Wikid Jag

I was up at a rental home we own in Encino (San Fernando Valley part of L.A.) today, and as I was leaving, at the house two doors away, a mobile car detailer was finishing work on an absolutely pristine black XKR coupe with the license Wikid Jag. It had either the Mina or Arden quad tailights, and the car was beautiful. There are several of us forum members who live in the area and are trying to organize some weekend rides. I took a picture with my cellphone but am tech challenged and don't know how to send it to a format that I could get a picture on the post. Later I'll ask one of my kids to do it. Does anyone know to whom this car belongs? I'd like to get in touch. Otherwise, I'll leave a not in the mailbox.

if cell and pc both have bluetooth - just pair them and then send the pics to the pc - it will create a folder called bluetooth exchange folder

You can email the photo to yourself and then from your computer you can "Save As" one of these formats. I usually use jpg (allows for larger image)

You should then be able to upload it to the forum.

Filetype Max Filesize Max Width Max Height bmp 2.10 MB 620 280 doc 2.10 MB - - docx 2.10 MB - - gif 2.10 MB 620 280 jpe 2.10 MB 620 280 jpeg 2.10 MB 620 280 jpg 9.54 MB 2400 2400 pdf 9.54 MB - - png 1.91 MB 1000 1000 pps 9.54 MB - - psd 1.91 MB - - txt 19.5 KB - - wmv 9.54 MB 620 280 xls 1.91 MB - - zip 19.07 MB - -

I tried emailing it to myself from my cellphone and it didn't work. I will try again and then failing to do so will give in to asking my kids to do it. (They'll, no doubt, make fun of my lack of tech knowledge). And by the way, this was one beautiful coupe. I usually have my camera with me in the trunk, but since my XKR is in the shop awaiting new hydraulic hoses for the convertible (for the third time), and I have my wife's car, I left the camera at home. I am going to knock at the door and ask about it. Although I am not a great fan of the quad lights, this car was so perfect that nothing could spoil its looks.

tberg, i do appriciate your problem, my son just got back from Korea (USAF) and I had list of issues that I was having with my PC. I had spent serveral hours tring to resolve, 15 minutes later he says "she's ready to go Dad". Then I made the mistake of asking what he had done. He rolls his eyes and laughs and says"do you really want to know". It almost getting to be a family joke. Ha Good luck Jim

Believe it or not, as tech challenged as I am, I was able to send an email from my phone to my computer and attached is the picture of the modified XKR coupe that resides 2 doors away from our rental. Does anyone recognize it? It is in Encino, Ca (San Fernando Valley).

Well, you may have managed to get the photos to your computer, but they are not on the forum. Keep at it, you'll get it. It's not really very hard as long as they are saved in one of the useable formats.

Click on the "insert image" icon that looks like a postcard with two mountains and then browse and select the image and then click on "upload".

I am a little confused, you are not seeing the photo in either the thread that I inserted into or in your reply? I am seeing it in both, how is that possible? I have just inserted it again below, and it appears in the preview post, so how can it not be seen on the real post? I really am perplexed.

I wonder if what you are inserting is a link to a local file on your computer. No one else will be able to see that, but it would look normal to you. If you didn't hit an "Upload" button somewhere it probably never made it to the internet, where everyone else can view it. If you just did a simple copy and paste, this may be what happened.

Okay, I must be in the Twilight Zone as I see the photo in each of my last 3 posts. However, I have bookmarked the photo, cut and pasted the link below. Hopefully, this will work.

The way the internet and different websites and operating systems and browsers and security systems work together is confusing to everyone.

In my case, with my computer, operating system and browser, I cannot see your photos.

Email them as attachments to one of my email addresses, kd8777635525@gmail.com and I'll see if I can upload them for you.

Let me know when you did, because I don't use that email frequently.

Easy solution, upload to dropbox and copy the public link. Then just post it here with the img bbcode.

Jeez!

Uploading pictures seems harder than repairing most problems my car has had...

Easier solution, email me the pictures (pm me if you want it) and I'll post the pictures.
