Will a 2005 engine cover fit my 2002 engine?

I found a 2005 one piece engine cover with the growler badge and wondered if it would fit my 2002 engine. Mine is a two piece cover.

After looking at photos of both, I'm pretty sure they won't. The new has screws and several other issues on the sides that don't match up with older engines. :-(

I would of thought it would of done, yes you would have to fit some additional brackets but there is not that much difference between the engines.....
