Someday this may happen to someone else so I wanted to report it.

passengers window had a gap between inner glass and rubber seal on quarter window. Pulled the door card, all looked good. Found the window was loose in that it wiggled a bit. This caused intermittent misalignment with rear seal.

I was searching for the cause, everything was right and tight, then I checked the regulator screws. Each one was equally loose! Tightened them up and problem solved.

I put a new regulator in about 2 years ago. Guess I didn't torque them to the 12ft lbs required.

Just wanted to add it to the list of quirky things that can go wrong for future reference.
