window sticking

window sticking

1999 xk8 conv. drivers side window starting to stick-button malfunction? window goes right up, or not at all or part way. i press bottom middle and top of the button. what should I check?

Do you hear the motor running? If yes = mechanical if no = electrical.

Is the glass cockeyed?

First check is the switch

I would guess it’s the switch pack. First try cleaning contacts in switch connector.

Rev Sam has a Youtube video in removing door card which first 1min he shows how to access the switch pack. Easy!
