Default Window Trim Removal

Any advice on removal of exterior window trim? My 97 has quite a lot of corrosion on all of the metallic grey coloured trim. My local body work guy says that removing it may be a lot of trouble.....

I removed the trim for repaint last month. Use a plastic trim removal tool, can be purchased at Eastwood, or other body shop suppliers, Mine was sealed with windshield sealer. so I had to work it very slowly and carefully and cut the sealer with a blade, to get it lose. After removal clean all sealer off the back side and reseal the weather striping that is attached. Have patience, this does take a little while to remove.
