Default Window up/down on opening questions

So my 97 seems to be loosing its memory about ever 10-20 door openings, Drivers side still going down but will go down more when you shut the door or pull on the door handle again when the door is open. Pass side will less frequently not go down. Resetting works for a day or so then issues return. Have sprayed electrical cleaner into both latch mech. but no real change. Anybody solve this issue? If so how? I do have a parts car but these look like a pita to r&r.

I agree on the battery. The window memory is one of the first signs of low voltage. Check to make sure the battery contacts are clean also.

Battery is just fine, 2 years old but shows 13.2v when sitting. Connections clean and free of corrosion. Will still do even when plugged into my battery tender btw.

You need to check the battery voltage after the surface charge is dissipated and the engine is off. Let the car sit overnight without the battery tender, then check the voltage BEFORE starting the engine and without connecting the battery tender.

13.2-12.9 if its sat for an entire day, just where a good battery should be. If I thought for a minute it was a battery issue I'd swap between the xjr and the xk8 but I've already explored that. Wish it was that simple and both the window issue and the abs stability fail would go away with a 100 battery but I'm not a lucky guy.

Try measuring the voltage at the fuse block behind the spare tire. Could be a positive cable problem.
