Default Winter Car Cover

Any recommendations on a 'good' Car Cover for outside temporary storage (1-2 weeks at a time) in Winter from ice, sleet and snow in the Washington DC Metro Area? Have a daily driver with a remarkable paint job for being 10 years old (soon to be 11). Really have no place to store it under cover, other than renting a garage space and most mini-storage locations do not allow vehicles to be stored inside them.

Additionally, I do not really want to drive it in slick conditions because of the 55 Falken Tires and their lack of tread design suitable for winter driving. Also do not really want to buy Winter Tires because of the cost of both tires and rims and the 2-3 months maximum of extreme weather. So it will be covered and parked when the roads are slick and the forecast is for inclimate weather. Then it's Jeep time....

Recommendations from Car Cover 'users' greatly appreciated...

Purchased my cover from COSTCO several years ago. Make sure any one you purchase allows for moisture to escape. Wash and wax before installing the cover, you'll find dust on the car that seeps through the cover but it will protect from the worst of the environment. In Virginia that means fall leaves, storms with heavy rain and high winds.
During snowstorms I brush any snow off before more than 1 - 2 inches accumulate.

Billm... Bought car and a 100 dollar car cover w/4 layers, this July. I stopped using the cover because of scratches I kept finding. Like you I have no garage. I've decided to rent a public storage garage, secured with a fence and 24 hr. access. One month is free and next 2 months it's 65 dollars each. Ten miles away but to me, seems worth it. You may have better luck with a cover than I. I'm in Delaware.
