Wiring harness for 2001 XK8
I'm installing the Parrot i9200 bluetooth in my 2001 XK8. Can't seem to find the correct wiring harness. Does anyone know where I can find one??? PLMK. Thanks.

Great info but what I'm looking for is a wiring harness to install a Parrot i9200 bluetooth unit to my 2001 XK8. I was told by the installer after I purchased the unit that the wiring harness is not available. Something about fiber optic to analog. I called Parrot tech support and they confirmed that their supplier dosn't make it but did say there was a guy in the UK that makes the harness. They couldn't or wouldn't tell me how to contact him but did say that to try overseas. I did start a post asking if anyone had installed this unit on their XK8. Hopefully someone has.

sorry, saw 'need wiring' and didn't see the 'harness' part. I know the parrot BTs are installed all the time in our cars, but never heard of a harness...you may have to hardwire that puppy.

See if they can can help you in the XK/XKR group...this group ends in 2006. The cars were completely redesigned for 2007.
I believe the 2007 cars offer a Bluetooth factory option...that may be you best alternative.
