Wonderful views! My son and I have great memories of Scotland (mostly at night!) when we "drove" the 2009 LeJog, starting from Land's End in our Dolomite Sprint.

Possibly 1 of 1 – Rare 2004 XKR Convertible (Platinum Silver / Reims Red / Walnut)
Hey everyone,
I’ve got this 2004 Jaguar XKR convertible that I believe might be a one-of-one spec globally, and I thought I’d share the story with fellow enthusiasts who would appreciate the details.
It’s finished in Platinum Silver Metallic (Paint Code: MDZ) with a Reims Red leather interior (Trim Code: CGT) and burl walnut trim — not carbon fiber. No nav screen, just timeless analog dials.
From what I’ve found:
Jaguar didn’t widely offer Reims Red until the Portfolio Edition (which had carbon fiber trim and different exteriors)
This color combo was never listed as a regular production pairing
VIN, build date (July 2003), and factory sticker all confirm it’s a legit factory spec, not modified
I’ve done some deep research and by all reasonable estimates, this configuration may be 1 of fewer than 3 worldwide, and possibly the only one with this exact combination of silver/red/walnut and analog gauges.
I put together a full collector sheet with a rarity chart, historic notes, and show highlights. Happy to share it if anyone’s interested or wants to compare registry details.
Would love to hear if anyone else has seen one like it — or knows how to confirm final production data with Jaguar Heritage.
Here are two of my barn cats. Kat is on the left, and Ninety Nine is on the right. She is currently serving as a donor to Kat, after an unfortunate incident involving a whitetail, but I still hope to restore her; unfortunately, even used parts are outrageously priced right now. She needs a complete nose including headlights and bumper cover, (bumper and structure are okay) both front air bags, a left front fender, a hood/bonnet and a windshield. There was no mechanical damage even to the A/C condensor. Meanwhile, I'm working on restoring Kat from a long nap. You may have guessed that all my cats have names and theme songs: "99 I keep breaking your heart, oh, 99 why must we be apart...", and "I had a cat and the cat pleased me, and I polished my Kat under yonder tree–Kat goes fiddle i fee".
Best regards,
Rick
