Default The Jaguar duo!

My Summer and Winter cars (Winter car used when it is raining too!)

So many comments given to the XK8 particularly the sound it makes - it has a two pierce Adamesh silencer fitted.

This is my lovely '96 XK8 just south of Goathland alongside the North York Moors Railway. Passing by in the background is an LMS Stanier 5MT, better known as a 'black 5'.

It's a genuine RHD Silverstone from Japan. One of 50 ever made. It's in New Zealand. 124,000 km. Nothing wrong with it. It's for sale, but kiwis (New Zealanders) have no taste. Or money. US$19,000, plus freight to your place! Who can fault these fantastic cars?

Just got this last Saturday. Needs a few bits and bobs doing to it and a bit of welding. Hopefully to end up as a reliable and solid car that I can enjoy.

It's always fun to run across the occasional photo in a thread but this one is just for our photos!
Maybe if it goes well, it can be a sticky! It would be a great place to remember former and lost members before its too late, as well as the new owners to come!!
If it would just accept my "wrong format" photos lol,,could be my lousy computer

Default Winterizing time

Although it's been a great fall, it's time to get my toys ready for winter storage. My XK8 is much like my F6B Goldwing. Both are comfortable, capable, with no fuss at all. BTW for you southerners, that thing to the left of the motorcycle is a snowblower.

Been scanning through some of the many pics on this thread, and am blown away!. Bought my XKR a few weeks ago and still getitng it sorted out, although so far it looks good - except for that Restricted Performance warning I can't get fixed (yet). Still hoping. But here are some pics taken in the winelands near Cape Town. A cat in the grapes

Default Slalom day

After spending much of July and early August prepping my car for the Jaguar Association of New England Councours championship judging (scored 998.4 &#128513 I took it to the JANE slalom event

lots of fun and I was surprised how close my times were to a far newer F Type being driven hard and well by its owner.

Default New to me 2003 XK8 Convertible

[Two weeks of ownership and already replaced front struts, upper mounts, bump stops and bellows. Replaced right rear window regulator.

Still pending, new tires, repair trunk harness (no license plate lights, no trunk release, no third brake light.) replace or repair windshield top lock (slow leak) reseal engine pan, change transmission fluid and filter, replace fuel filter, look for small coolant leak and repair.

Can't wait to go on a long ride with the top down.

Love the wheels. What's with the leaper? These do take some work to get them in good running shape, but worth it.
