Nice car, green with the light interior is one of my favorite colour (Dear spell check the U is right i'm English! <and so is the language>) combinations I do like those Milan alloys, you just reminded me to keep looking for a set.

Ruby is my 1999 XK8 coupe. She is in very good condition and used regularly except for foul weather. (We had two days of 70 degree weather this past weekend here in the St. Louis area, so she got some good exercise.)

As far as stripes go that looks very elegant. Reminds me of some of the lotus treatments I've seen.

Very cool. My xk8 goes in in a month for striping as well. I'm doing a flat black Union Jack on my dark walnut metallic paint.

It's amazing to see how much bigger the XK's have gotten over the years.. Seeing them lined up really puts it into perspective. I have an XJS and an X100 now. Hoping to add an XKE and X150 in the next few years. Beautiful cars you have there!

Taken 2 days ago on Tennessee's infamous Tail of the Dragon (U.S. 129). I've had my '99 for a month now & couldn't be happier with my first XK8. Bought it w. 121k miles from a long-time owner (8 years), complete w. updated timing chain kit, water pump & new top hydraulics & headliner. I put on a fresh set of Bilsteins & Continentals & now she's a happy road warrior.

 

Love the stripes! I'm doing similar on my XK8. Using matte black but doing a stylized Union jack. Bonnet stripe same as yours but doing same size on doors and boot, then smaller diagonal stripes from to wheel arches.

 

Anyone have Black Walnut Paint Code? That is really beautiful!

 

Here's a better picture of the Black walnut. I'll check with my body shop and get the code. It's a great color. Shifts from a metallic charcoal shade to a rich brown/black.
