Heading to the JCNA concours event today in North Carolina (90% rain
) so I'll post a few pics of my engine and car since it looks like I won't be opening the bonnet or top!

And the car! I'll say, if you ever want to get your Jaguar in immaculate condition, enter a concours. I never knew how many little bits were missing or damaged. I must have replaced 30 little bits over the whole car. Plastic tabs, screws, cracked caps, but it was worth it!! Like driving a new car!!

Even in the mountain rain and fog, I came away with First place in the Special division at the JCNA Carolina Jaguar Club competition with my modified 2002 XK8! Fun weekend even with rain!! First time ever they had a drive through judging!! (Judged under the hotel entrance!)
