Celebrating the 10th anniversary of my 36th birthday.......46 outside the car, 35 with top up, 30 with top down!

 

Too funny! I'm on the same page though.. 55, got rid of the hubby and got his car! Lol

 

Lol touche'!!! All is fair, she got the Rover - which she promptly traded for a Honda...

 

Well iam 22 and I had a 1999 xk8 at 20 and loved it. Now I have a 2003 xkr SilverStone and iam forever in love with jaguars lol

56 and first Jag. '04 XK8 convertable. Kept the wife after 30 years. It' cheaper.

 

Well, I'm 80 in August, so that should put the average up a bit. Is this a record? I have only owned my 2002 XKR convertible for a month, having purchased it sight unseen while wintering in Egypt. It is all I expected, beautiful, elegant, and a real pleasure to drive. The youngsters in their hot hatches can be a provocation and an irritant, but in my state of advancing senility, I am at last able to resist the temptation to be first away at the lights, as it is not really competition. The Jag only comes out on sunny days, which are few and far between in Liverpool. Sports cars I have owned in the past (in no particular order)have included a Lagonda, DB3, MGA, MGB, Stag, Spitfire, and a TR6. I really like this forum.
PS. My other car is a Yaris!

2002 black XK8 being heavily modified! Arden body kit going on. Led light rings, custom badge, more to come!!! Eventually adding a supercharger and exhaust system.

37 and three years of flawless ownership ;-)

 

37 and just bought mine. Owned a 02 Thunderbird for a while and wanted something faster, being a Ford dealer I couldn't buy a Vette (I'd never hear the end of it), got to looking around and ended up with an 06 XKR.

 

75 and a new owner of a 97 XK8.

 

Old enough to finally own a Jag, and young enough to still enjoy it!

 

Ditto here at 32. This car has been much more of an overall joy to own than my last fun/third car, an '86 944 Turbo. Same value. No brainer swap late last year. The relative bulletproof reliability has me on cloud nine after almost 5 months so far! While I love my garage, I actually don't like spending every other hour of every other day in it wrenching regardless of the weather. Especially as a new parent! My lovely wife is enjoying me being inside more as am I! More time for house projects lately. She loves driving it with the top down- it's our first convertible.

 

70 in Dec.I have owned 6 Jaguars in the past 20 years. The XK8 is the favourite although I smiled alot in the manual XJS despite it being a piece of dung. Burnt itself to death. Engine fire.
