XK8(2001) and S-Type engine compatibility/swap?

XK8(2001) and S-Type engine compatibility/swap?
Greetings Jaguar owners and enthusiasts!
I have quite a dilemma, i bought an XK8 with a busted engine(4.0liter)(some genious started the car after it was sitting for 3 years and busted the engine/block), so now i need a new engine.
I found a AJ-V8 from a Jaguar S-type 2001 4.0 liter, could any of you confirm that the engines are totally identical and swappable?
Are there any differences?(even slightest?) Will i need any additional parts for the swap? Any tips?
