Default XK8 Alternator bearings

I'm trying to track down bearings and brushes for the Denso alternator on my MY 2000 XK8, but the only part description i can find is in the JTIS, which says it's model L3B-HE.

I could get a Jaguar part number from the JEPC, but i don't want a new alternator, i want to rebuild my old one.

There are supposed to be numbers written on the foil plate of the alternator, but they are unreadable.

Does anyone by chance know a model number for these alternators that would be identifiable to a parts shop selling bearings and brushes?

Roadhog,
Failing any further info from other members, the bearings fitted should have an ident. number stamped on one face, and if it was put together correctly, the number should be facing you when the end cover is removed. Maybe worth a look.

Ah , if the bearings part number is stamped on it and readable, that'll save me ordering the wrong bearings, which was the main worry.
I haven't got as far as splitting the casing yet, i'm having some trouble finding a 6 point, long reach 22mm socket for the big pulley bolt.

12 point's are as common as muck lol.

Thank you for the heads up on the bearing part number jimbov8
