Default XK8 Convertible 2000 Rear Window seal

Every time I lower and raise the roof, the top edge of the rear window seal pops out. As far as I can see the window is still bonded to the roof. I am assuming the seal is a pressure fit. Any thought on how to secure in place. Debating about a bead of sealant in the groove to hold the seal in place. Any advice welcome. Window rubber appears in good condition.

Graham, I had the same issue with a friends a couple of weeks ago.
First get a good firm tooth brush and some dawn in a glass of water and scrub out the channel and seal. Dry it off with paper towels and wipe it down with denatured alcohol.
You will notice there is a channel in the seal, run a bead of rubber seal, clear would be better, in the channel. Now fold it down onto the glass. Using a plastic knife, push it down flat with the top. It's kind of a folding effort to get that rubber in place.
Check the lower corners also, they will be next.
