Default XK8 convertible top hydrolic lines

My 2004 XK8 sprung a leak. One hose only. Does anyone sell single hoses, instead of a full kit?

You can contact tophydraulics.com and ask, but I think that would be a bad idea. All the work of replacing a top hose, and then risk having the other fail sounds like false economy. I didn't replace all the hoses in my 06, just the top ones.

I am in the UK and I know I can buy them over here, and they are higher spec than the original Jaguar ones.

I agree with other posters. In my experience it just puts extra pressure on the older hoses and you probably spring another leak after a few months. I did both my top ones but to no avail, I now have another leak. Probably why Jaguar stopped selling the top lines kit.

Thank you all for great advise. Thank you Gus, your step for step instructions are incredible and most helpful. I get it, will go for the whole replacement! Mucho Mahalo!
