Greetings all, -For your information... I have just spoken to Marty from Be Cool radiators. He has informed me that he can build me an all aluminum custom made to fit radiator for less money than an oem for my 2000 XK8 with 83000 miles. He is going to be on vacation until mid March so I have to wait for him to return before I can send him my old radiator to engineer from.
I have had Be Cool radiators in the past and can swear to the fact of 20% heat reduction from your vehicle. They are an absolute work of art when it comes to the quality of fabrication (you can also opt for show polish which will look like chrome for an additional charge). So, I highly suggest to anyone that needs a new radiator to contact Be Cool and get the most bang for your buck. Plastic radiators have got to be the most ridiculous thing that could ever have been created. So at least now we have an option against them. Once he receives my old radiator he will draw his blueprint and therefore, there will not be a need to send your old radiator to him like I have to. Allow me to be the pioneer behind this. I will keep you posted as to how it all turns out I am guessing sometime in early April. It could have been sooner but I opted to choose Marty and wait until his vacation ends to put this into motion. So If you need one immediately call them and someone other than Marty can make it happen for you. Happy motoring, -Scotmo out...
