Watching last night's episode of Fast N' Loud on Discovery and I see a Silver XK8 with a black convertible top at Sue's Upholstery shop - looked to be in beautiful shape. Just wondering if this is a forum member's car? Is this your 5 seconds of fame?

 

Ha, I noticed that also, wonder what it was in for. Sue has been around for 20+ years if I remember correctly so she is well known in TX without the assmonkey guys. I would be curious also if it was a forum member and how she is in actual person compared to on TV.

 

I didn't mind watching that show up until the episode where they trash talked an E-Type.. that kind of killed it for me. I don't remember which episode it was, but they almost destroyed the poor car by knocking it off of the transport with a forklift after they bought it (trying to lift it up by the ROOF).

I know it was a parts car, but still...

 

I saw that xkr too...2002 with double five wheels, it appeared to be after I backed up the dvr to see it again several times. Car looked nice!

I spotted that too, fortunately it wasn't lined up for the Fast N' Loud treatment.

 

I caught that episode as well and saw both of my cars on there, the XKR and that Pantera to which they did nothing but turn it over to a new owner for $10K in profits.

 

No way! That was your pantera??!?

 

No, that wasn't my actual Pantera. I just meant that they showed two models of cars that I have. If I only got $18K offered, I'd donate it to charity.

 

They know nothing about our cars as we do,its just tv .

 

I don't get the Discovery Channel, but looked at their website and cannot find the episode mentioned. Did a YouTube search as well.

Does anyone know the episode name or number? Or see a link to it online?
