Hello. ive a 97 xk8. 5speed. My gearbox might have a fault. All the gears seem to work fine but whenever I change from the manual mode (left side of J gate) to drive on the right side. My gearbox goes into limp mode. I have to stop, switch off and start again. I would appreciate someones knowledge to point me in the right direction to find the fault because I imagine using the manual side would enable me to go up steep hills in the right gear rather than either crawling up or flying up them. Its not the valve body.
